About us

The Dawson family (Richard, Junko, Alexander 9, Rika 5 and Ellie 3) has been superhosting in Tokyo since 2013, looking after guests from all over the world. We look forward to welcoming you to the best city in the world and introducing some of our favourite places. Originally from Edinburgh, Scotland, Richard has been living in Tokyo since 2001, and after a career with PwC is now running wine bar Parabola (guests are encouraged to stop by for some welcome to Tokyo champagne). Meanwhile Junko is originally from the landlocked mountainous Nagano region, home to some of the country’s best skiing and where bees are a speciality food delight.
